There’s More To It Than Just Supplements
The natural health industry is growing bigger every day. As you try to navigate the world of wellness, the number of products out there can be overwhelming, and their claims can be even more confusing. Unfortunately, there is no magic pill that does it all.
Instead, we’ve focused on creating products that will work with you. But they can’t do it on their own. Without some effort on your end, you may end up not seeing the results you want. So here are some of our top tips for getting the most out of your supplements.
Hydration is always important, but when you start incorporating supplements into your routine, stepping up your water game will make a big difference. Water is crucial for the body’s digestive and detox processes, helping you to better absorb nutrients and flush out toxins.
This is especially important if you are taking supplements that help you detox, such as antioxidants or liver support supplements, or if you are losing weight. Drinking more water will help your body to clear those extra toxins out. You’ll feel lighter, more energized, and avoid those nasty headaches that dehydration can cause.
As much as we wish we could, we can’t burn calories for you. Many of our products, such as our CLA, Raspberry Ketones, and Garcinia Cambogia, are great weight-loss aids, but without regular, strenuous exercise, your body is missing a key piece of the weight loss puzzle.
Evidence does suggest that the combination of exercise and supplements can pack an extra punch. One study found that in individuals who exercised, body fat was significantly reduced in those who supplemented with CLA, compared to those on the same exercise plan who took a placebo.
Even if you aren’t trying to lose weight, exercise is still important. It decreases your risk of heart disease and stroke, keeps your muscles and bones strong, supports your brain by boosting circulation, and releases endorphins to keep your mood up.
Fuel Your Body
What you eat can affect how efficiently your body absorbs nutrients (and supplements). How you fuel your body matters.
Take a step back and look at your plate. Is it filled with heavily processed foods or whole grains, fresh vegetables, and lean proteins?
The latter is the way to go. You’ll improve your gut health, feel energized, and support the work of your supplements.
Rest and Relax
Your body is one hard-working machine. We push our bodies every day without thinking much about it. It’s just kind of expected that our bodies will do what we need.
But we should acknowledge that hard work and give our bodies the rest and recovery it needs. This is especially important when you incorporate anything new into your health routine, such as a new exercise schedule, new diet, or new supplements. Extra rest helps your body to adjust to these changes.
Proper rest can also be great for mental health, and a healthy mindset is super important on any wellness journey.
